With the warm season and the big effort in the vaccination campaign, the situation in Poland is getting better and better. We are trying to stay positive and we truly hope that finally the 20th Alps Adria Conference will take place at Wisla, in the Silesian Beskids mountains (Poland).
We are monitoring daily the state of restrictions from Polish Government and we would like to keep you updated as well, to help in your decision to join the Conference. From 26 June, the limit will change to 1 person per 10 m2, but the situation is developing dynamically so we count on less and less restrictions by the time set for the Conference.

Based on the not ordinary vis major situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the regulations of the Polish government like from 14 March 2020 until further notice, the following restrictions apply in the Republic of Poland:
Restrictions on the operation of shopping centres (pharmacies, grocery stores and drug stores remain open everywhere, including in shopping centres!). Ban on public, national and religious gatherings of more than 50 people. The ban applies both to indoor and outdoor gatherings. 1. Announcement:In the background we worked hard to solve the situation and now we can announce that the previously planed 19th Alps Adria Scientific Workshop ( 26th April – 1st May 2020) will be postponed and will be held from 25th – 30th April 2021 (Sunday – Friday) as the part of the 20th jubilee event.2. Registration fee offer & cancellation:Because of the postponement we can offer you two options if you registered and already payed your registration fee:1. Your registration and payment will be valid with the same conditions for the next 20th event ( 25th – 30th April 2021).
2. If you can not participate in the next event, our partner the OTP Travel will totally refund the paid registration fee of yours.Thus we would like to kindly ask you to send us your decision about the two offered options above to the email@example.com with your prevously received invoice in pdf.
3. Publishing the abstract book
However, the Workshop cannot be held we would like to publish the Abstract book, because we know that a lot of of our colleagues has an ongoing projects or PhD studies and they need to publish their results. For this reason we will publish the full abstract book wit ISBN and DOI for free regardless of your registration fee payment. If you do not want to publish your submitted abstract plese write a cancellation e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The cancellation of the booking of your accommodation is your own responsibility, because the booking were made individually. The Hotel Stok will postpone your current paid booking to the next event’s date (25th – 30th April 2021), however we are trying to find a satisfying agreement with the hotel about the possible cancellations to help you.
